Reading Challenge Year 1, 2 and 3
Reading Challenge Year 1, 2 and 3
Lots of parents/carers have let us know that it is not always easy to get copies of the books listed on the Reading Challenge.
Great news! The Reading Challenge Library for pupils in Year 1 and 2 on Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes will now be open to children in Year 3 as well!
Books listed on the Reading Challenge list (plus other books by listed authors) will be loaned out. These books will be clearly labelled with a Reading Challenge sticker.
Books can be kept until read and then returned to school.
As these books are limited we ask that they are looked after at home and returned to school promptly after children have finished reading them.
A reminder will be given to children in school on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so they can attend.
Please also remember to make use of the book swap trolley, which is always in the courtyard/foyer before and after school.
If you have any reading/phonic questions we are always available.
