Thank you to all members of our school community for adapting to the new drop and pick up timings and arrangements this term. It has been great to see the vast majority of pupils getting into school promptly as the gates open at 8.25 ready to start learning at 8.30. Pupils are not permitted through the gate after 8.40 and registers close at 8.45. This means if pupils arrive after 8.45 they are recorded as late.
At the end of the day, the gate is very busy and your patience and understanding has been appreciated. As a result of feedback from parents and carers, we are tweaking exit points for pupils in Years 4, 5 and 6. They will now exit the building via the hall doors and will not use the gate. You will need to collect them from their usual points in the courtyard. Year 6 will continue to walk to the front gates. To allow this to happen safely, parents and carers are politely requested to stay behind the yellow lines.
